Watch out for Berlinale Talents 2023, with Cate Blanchett and Nina Hoss.

At Berlinale, from February 18-23 this year, 68 countries will exchange experiences along the theme “You Must Be Joking: Humour in Serious Times”. The 204 talents (112 female, 83 male) that have been selected show a very interesting program that could launch new filmmakers from countries that have rarely been represented at Berlinale Talents before (Myanmar, Palestine, Nepal, Mongolia, Lesotho, Bangladesh, Costa Rica and for the first time Saint Lucia).

At Berlinale Talents, prominent creatives provide highly exciting insights into their cinematic work and celebrate the synthesis of different art forms together with the audience in public talks.

But the highlight this year will be the Berlinale welcome to the crew of the amazing film TÁR, at the HAU Hebbel am Ufer theatre on February 23, 2023. Cate Blanchett (who won the Coppa Volpi for her extraordinary performance at the Venice film festival) will be there with Nina Hoss, and the director Todd Field as well as the film composer, Hildur Guðnadóttir.

An amazing event showing one of the best movies about power, perfectionism, classical music, orchestras, and Berlin…. and its impact in today’s society. TÁR will be screened as the Berlinale Special Gala at the Berlinale Palast.
